a. Avoid accidental starting, make sure the lock button is not activated before plugging in the
tool and that your nger does not touch the trigger of the on / o switch.
Mounting / replacing the saw blade
to. Lay the circular saw on its side on a at surface. (It is recommended that you set the mother-
board (3) to its maximum depth, for easy operation.)
b. Push the shaft lock knob (14) toward the main case and hold it down rmly.
c. Turn the blade clamp bolt counterclockwise using the hex wrench supplied with the tool.
d. Remove the bolt from the blade clamp with the washer and the outer ange, and then relea-
se the shaft lock.
and. Raise the lower guard (2) using the lever for the lower guard, and then remove the saw
blade.
F. Clean the saw blade anges, rotate the lower guard to the maximum protection position and
hold it, then mount the new saw blade on the output shaft and against the inner ange.
g. Make sure the saw teeth and arrow on the blade are in the same direction as the arrow on
the guard.
h. Release the bottom guard.
i. Reinstall the outer ange with the concave side facing in, rst press the shaft lock button and
tighten the blade clamp bolt.
j. Make sure the saw blade works freely by turning the blade by hand.
