6 . I nst a llat ion and operat ion
•
Start the cars' engine and plug t he car plug [ A] into the 1 2 VDC car
cigar lighter socket. The transm itter start s aut om atically. I f not ,
verify the condition of the fuse inside the plug [ A] ( see §8) .
•
Switch on the car radio and search for a free frequency on the FM-
band. Set t he sam e frequency on the t ransm itt er by pressing the
MENU/ REPEAT butt on once followed by the
the MENU/ REPEAT butt on again t o st ore the setting.
•
There are 3 ways t o provide m usic files t o the t ransm itt er:
1. using an SD- card. Slide t he SD- card in the SD- card slot [ C]
( pins facing down) .
2. via a USB device. Connect the USB device t o the USB connect or
[ D] .
3. through the 2.5m m m ini j ack. Plug the 2.5m m plug into the m ini
j ack [ E] .

Set the volum e on t he t ransm itter t o an average level. Press the
MENU/ REPEAT butt on twice followed by t he
