Replacing Friction Drive Wheel
Disassembly
Proceed as follows to disassemble the friction drive
wheel:
1. Drain fuel and oil from the machine.
2. Shift to 6th gear.

4-18. With the help of another person,
tip snow blower onto auger housing (A).

4-19. Insert a flat head screwdriver (B)
into the slot of the wheel retaining clips (C) and
rotate screwdriver away from axle shaft to lift the
inside of the clip above the end of the axle.
