Options and Extra Functions
Your washer includes several additional cycle
options to customize cycles to meet your individual
needs.
• Select the desired option after selecting the
desired cycle and settings.
NOTE
• The LED for the option will light when the option
is selected.
• To protect your garments, not every option is
available with every cycle.
• A chime will sound twice and the LED will not
light if the selected option is not allowed for the
selected cycle.
Add Option
TM
Turbo Wash
Adding this option reduces the cycle time while still
providing similar wash performance to the same
cycle without Turbo Wash
NOTE
• This option cannot be used with all cycles.
• This option defaults to on for Normal, Heavy
Duty and Perm.Press wash cycles.
Pre-wash
This option adds a pre-wash (for about 15 - 17
minutes) for improved cleaning of heavily soiled or
stained clothing.
NOTE
• If you select this option after putting the
detergent directly in the drum, the detergent
may be washed away, reducing the washing
performance.
• For best results, use this option with the Auto
Detergent function.
Hygienic Rinse
Use this option to improve cleaning or rinsing
performance. The final rinse is heated to 104 ℉ (40
℃).
Fresh Care
Use this function when you will not be able to
unload your clothes immediately after the wash
cycle ends.

• Press the Start/Pause or Power button at any
time to unload laundry.
• The drum will tumble periodically for up to 19
hours to prevent wrinkles.
Delay Wash
Once you have selected the cycle and other
settings, touch the Delay Wash to delay the start
of the wash cycle.
• Each press of this button increases the delay
time by 1 hour, for up to 24 hours.
• Once the desired delay time is set, press the
Start/Pause button to start the delay time.
NOTE
• If the Start/Pause button is not pressed to begin
the delay time, the washer automatically turns
off after a certain time and all cycle settings are
lost.
Add Garments
Use this function to add garments or remove
foreign objects like coins or keys after the cycle has
started.

Touch the Add Garments while the wash
cycle is running.
• The cycle pauses and the door unlocks.

Open the door, add garments or remove
foreign objects, and close the door.

Press the Start/Pause button to resume the
cycle. The cycle continues automatically.
WARNING
• Do not attempt to force the door to open when
locked. Doing so could result in damage to the
appliance, malfunction, or personal injury.
NOTE
• If the water level and temperature are safe, the
door lock LED turns off and the door unlocks
once the wash movement has stopped.
• If the water level is too high, the door will not
unlock, and this function cannot be used.
• If the temperature in the drum is higher than
113 °F (45 °C), a short warning chime sounds and
this function is not allowed for safety.
