Various compatibilities:
NAV108E can be connected to video or audiovideo interfaces for OEM display of
cars with NTSC monitor.
When videocomposite signal is used, all the necessary accessories are included in the
package. When RGB signal is used, it is necessary to know the pin layout of the RGB
input connector of the interfaces itself, and, following the instruction of the manual, build
the adaptor RGB cable.
*If the original unit (or any other unit)doesn't have a Tel Mute input, it's possible the
amplifier tel mute AM MUP installation (not included, to be bought separately). The AM
MUP device can switch off acustic boxes temporarly (for units without a specific tel mute
input)during vocal infromation from NAV108E.
It is possible to replace the NAX9500E with the NAV108E.
For this replacement please refer to the description of the proper kit for each installed
sources (using the cable CCA629 if necessary). In every case the replacement of the
NAX9500E with the NAV108E will desable the touch screen control, the automatic video
option (automatic display of the map only together with the vocal guidance) and the
eventual direct controls on the source front panel. It will be also necessary to install the
external speaker (included in the package).
* for some models manufactured before 2005, to avoid the map blackout during vocal
information, can be necessary to add AM MUP tel mute amplifier (not included, to be bougt
separetly).
