Help in the event of faults

Service work should only be carried out by authorised specialist staff.
Defective components should only be replaced with original parts.
If the appliance has been lying on its side for a considerable time, e.g. because of installation work, it should
only be put into operation again after it has been set upright for 4 hours.
Please check first of all whether there has been an operating error. You yourself can eliminate some faults.
In the event of after-sales service and when ordering replacement parts give the data set out in the identifi-
cation plate (see page 18).
Fault
Appliance does not become cold,
indicator light does not come on.

Increased formation of bloom and
ice; reduced efficiency or lower
cooling power.
Stacker "pulls" to left or right dur-
ing transport.
Resistance to rolling of the
wheels higher than when put into

any locking action.
Platform no longer rises even with
a low load.
Regular inspection and maintenance of the appliance prevent disruptions to operation and ensure safety.
Inspection and maintenance intervals depend upon the use of the appliance. Consult your dealer's after-sales
service department.

Possible cause
Defective fuse at the building
end.
ON/OFF switch defective.
Mains connection cable or
mains plug defective.
Cooling assembly defective.
Refrigerant circuit leaky.
Indicator light defective.
Introduction of foods which
are still warm or not covered
and give off moisture.
Ambient air too warm.
Damaged roller bearing(s).
Wear of the locking brake
due to continual misuse as
travel brake.
Breakage of a spring.
Action
Check fuse and repair if need be.
Disconnect appliance from the mains
and have it checked and repaired if
need be by authorised specialist staff.

temperatures: +10 to +32 °C.
Replace defective rollers with new
ones.
Either renew the locking brake or
replace the defective roller(s) with new
one(s).
Replace spring with new.
