Changing the oil after 50 mowing hours:
Safety device (1).
Belt tightening
There is a spring device for tightening the belt (37). When the "X" distance between the indicator (38)
and the base (39) reaches 3 mm (or more) it is necessary to tighten the belts using the nuts (40) to
tighten until reaching the indicator (38) that touches the base (39).
CAUTION:
The "V" belts are the most critical parts in the machine, thus it is essential that routine and adequate
maintenance is performed. It is always important to adapt the speed of the tractor to the working
conditions as to avoid overloading the belts. An excessive load causes overheating and consequently
belt slippage. Likewise, the belts will slip when the tension is too loose.
Safety device
The Drum Mower is equipped with a safety device (1) that
will be activated whenever an obstacle is hit; this makes
the machine go around it. If this occurs, you should
immediately stop the tractor and engage in reverse gear.
When going in reverse, the device will automatically
engage.
If the safety device (1) is automatically activated while
mowing, without hitting obstacle, it is probable that the
spring tension (11) is too low. In this case, use the nut to
tighten it (12).
CAUTION:
Never tighten the nut so the spring is blocked, as to prevent the safety device from activation.
