This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment also
complies with RTCA specification DO-160G section 21.3 (conducted
emissions) Category H and section 21.4 (radiated emissions)
category H (modified for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz transmission frequency).
RTCA specification DO-160G applies to equipment installed and
operated aboard aircraft. This equipment generates, uses and can
radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions provided in this guide and the
applicable operating software operator's manual, it may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user/installer is encouraged to try to correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
WARNING:
Changes or modifications to this device will void the
FCC certification
Miltope Corporation is not responsible for any interference caused by
unauthorized modification of the nMAP2 access point, or the
substitution or attachment of connecting cables and equipment
(antennas) other than that specified by Miltope Corporation.
The correction of interference caused by such unauthorized
modification, substitution or attachment is the responsibility of the
user/installer.
WARNING:
Exposure to Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation
In accordance with FCC requirements of human exposure to radio
frequency fields, the radiating element shall be installed such that a
minimum separation distance of 20 cm (8 inches) is maintained
between it and the user or general population.
This device is restricted to indoor use when using the 5.15 to
5.25 GHz band (channels 36, 40, 44, and 48) and 5.73 to 5.83 GHz
band (channels 149, 153, 157, 161, and 165).
The nMAP2 access point is compliant with FCC Report and Orders
FCC-03-287A1 and FCC-06-96A1.
B. Canada – Industry Canada (IC)
This device complies with the limits for a Class B digital device and
conforms to Industry Canada standard ICES-003. Products that
contain a radio transmitter comply with Industry Canada standard
RSS210 and are labeled with an IC approval number.
This device complies with the Class B limits of Industry Canada.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) this device
may not cause harmful interference, and 2) this device must accept
interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
This device is restricted to indoor use when using the 5.15 to
5.25 GHz band (channels 36, 40, 44, and 48) and 5.73 to 5.83 GHz
band (channels 149, 153, 157, 161, and 165).
