6. To connect a wired or wireless network to the TV.

To use a wired network with a 2012 TV that has an Evolution Kit
attached, disconnect the LAN cable from the TV, and then connect it
to the Kit using the LAN Cable Adapter.
Plug the TV's power cable to an outlet.

8. Turn on the TV.
9. Please wait for the Evolution Kit to be recognized (up to a minute).
10. Once recognized, the Evolution Kit will update the TV to the 2014 version. Wait for the update process to finish.
The TV will turn off and on auto matically after completing the software update.

The LAN cable adapter and Samsung Smart Control unit can only be used after installing the evolution kit on the TV.

Once your TV has been updated using the evolution kit, you will be able to use a USB storage device to update the

software. Ensure that the TV update file and the evolution kit update file contained on the USB storage device are the
same version before proceeding.
