Determine proper chime base orientation (one arrow should be
pointing up). The chime cover style may determine orientation
(see Figure 3).
7.
Route wires through wire entrance hole in new chime base (see
Figure 4). Note: DO NOT install batteries if connecting chime
to transformer wires.
8.
Mount chime base to wall using screws and anchors provided
(see Mount Chime Base, page 7).
9.
Connect wire "F" to screw terminal marked "FRONT". Connect
wire "T" to screw terminal marked "TRANS". Connect wire
"R" to screw terminal marked "REAR"* (See Figure 4).
10. If using with wireless push buttons, refer to the wireless push
button owner's manual. Note: Only Heath
push buttons are compatible with this chime.
11. If a diode is not already installed on front push button, attach
supplied diode (see page 8).
12. Select front door tune (see Tune Setting, page 9).
13. Install cover (see page 10).
*Note: Some installations may not include rear door push button.
