healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless

Strin s can cause stran ulation! Do not place items with
a strin around a child's neck, such as strin s or pacifier
cords. Do not suspend strin s over a crib or attach
strin s to toys.
To help prevent stran ulation ti hten all fasteners. A
child can trap parts of the body or clothin on loose
fasteners.
DO NOT place a crib near a window where cords from
blinds or drapes may stran le a child.
When a child is able to pull to a standin position, set
the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper
pads, lar e toys and other objects that could serve as
steps for climbin out.
For cribs with drop sides, after raisin side, make sure
latches are secure.
For cribs with drop sides, DO NOT leave child in crib
with side lowered. Be sure side is in raised and locked
position whenever child is in crib.
WARNING
When a child is able to climb out, reaches the hei ht of
35 inches (890 mm), the child should be placed in a
youth or re ular bed, and the crib shall no lon er be
used.
Check this product for dama ed hardware, loose
joints, missin parts or sharp ed es before and after
assembly and frequently durin use. DO NOT use crib
if any parts are missin , dama es or broken. Contact
Babyletto for replacement parts and instructional
literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
NEVER use a water mattress with this product.
For cribs equipped with teethin rails, replace teethin
rail if dama ed, cracked or loose.
If refinishin , use a non-toxic finish specified for
children's products.
Never use plastic shippin ba s or other plastic films
as mattress covers not sold and intended for purpose.
They can cause su ocation.
Infants can su ocate in aps between crib sides when
used with a mattress that is too small.
Check fasteners periodically for ti htness. Do not
overti hten. This may cause distortion or breaka e.
Use a crib, not as a play pen. Remember that a crib is
not a substitute for parent's supervision.
