Make sure t he PCUSBVC3 device is properly connect ed and select [ Ca pt u r e , cr e a t e , or e dit vide os] .

Set [ Sour ce ] t o SMI Grabber Device.
•
Set [ Au dio de vice ] t o USB Pin Source.
•
Set [ Vide o in pu t ] t o Com posit e or S- Video depending on t he used connect ion.
•
Click on [ D e vice se t t ing] t o set t he applicable video st andard ( NTSC_M, PAL- B) .
•

The PCUSBVC3 com es wit h and fem ale S- video and 3 fem ale RCA connect ors. Most video sources will also
have fem ale connect ors. Male- m ale RCA cables or a m ale- m ale S- Video cable is not included and m ust be
purchased separat ely. Not e however t hat t hese cables oft en are included when buying a new video source
( e.g. TV, Video...) .

I n case your video source only com es wit h a SCART out put , you m ust purchase an adapt or wit h a SCART
connect or on one end and t hree RCA connect ors on t he ot her.
