Maintenance and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

Always take the battery out of the device before any cleaning work is carried out.
■
All moving parts are maintenance-free.
■
Do not use any degreasing agents.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents! These may damage the
surface.
General Inspection
• Regularly inspect all screws to make sure they fi t securely as over time they can
become loose due to vibrations.
• Regularly inspect the blade (1) to check its condition, secure fi t and sharpness.
Cleaning
• Keep the device clean at all times. Dust and dirt will cause the parts to wear more
quickly and the lifespan of the device may be reduced.
• Clean the housing with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
• Clean the ventilation slots with a brush, a vacuum cleaner or clean, dry compressed
air, if available.
• Clean the blade with a brush.
Lubrication
• It is not necessary to lubricate any moving parts of the device.
Storage
• Always remove the battery from the device.
• Always slide the protective cover (7) onto the blade.
• Store the device and accessories in a dry, clean place which is protected from the
effects of weather and temperature and is out of the reach of children and animals.
