General Safety Rules (Continued)
Product Use and Care
Do not use pump to transfer gasoline. Risk of explosion.
Do not use pump to transfer luids for human consumption. Personal injury may occur.
Do not use pump to transfer water. Damage to pump will occur.
Do not use pump to ill aircraft.
Never rig the fuel nozzle handle in the open position.
Never leave the pump unattended when dispensing fuel. Always be alert and maintain contact with the pump
when dispensing.
Always watch tank fuel level to avoid overilling and tank overlow.
Do not use pump as a source of building pressure.
Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the job in a better and safer manner.
Do not modify supplied equipment and do not use this equipment for a purpose other than it is intended.
Store idle power tools out of reach of children and in dry location to reduce opportunity for rust.
Do not allow persons unfamiliar with power tools or these instructions and warnings to operate or handle this
tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain all components of this product. If any components are worn or damaged, replace immediately. Many
accidents are caused by poor maintenance.
Always disconnect the from its power source before making adjustments, changing accessories, storing the tool,
or repairing parts. Follow appropriate tag out/lockout procedures. Preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
Industrial applications must follow OSHA requirements.
Do not allow any metal components to come in contact with alligator clips that could cross the positive and
negative terminals. This can cause sparks or damage to vehicle's electrical system and/or pump.
Do not operate without a ilter on pump outlet that prevent foreign material from contaminating and/ or damag-
ing equipment's fuel system.
Always ensure tank is properly bolted and supported to avoid shifting or tipping before attaching the pump.
Extreme operating conditions with working cycles of more than 30 minutes can cause the motor temperature to
rise and result in damage to the motor. Each 30 minute working cycle must be followed by 30 minutes of power
off.
Always keep the control nozzle in contact with the tank being illed. Use only the antistatic hose that is supplied
with the pump to reduce static electricity buildup.
Always operate the pump in an environment between -4°F and 140°F and a humidity level less than 90%.
Do not allow the motor temperature to exceed 140°F, damage to motor will occur. Use a fan to cool the motor
under extreme situations.
Service
Have this product serviced by a qualiied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the product is maintained.
