Note: we recommend using hot water to shorten the time of the cycle.
5. Make sure all the contacts, wires and connections are not wet.
6. The lid of the cap must be in line with the outlet hole of the tank. Plug the fan power cord (K) and the
main power cord in (J). You will notice that the fan starts working.
7. Turn the "RESET" switch on to start the distillation cycle.
8. The condensation process starts approximately one hour after the beginning of the cycle.
9. The distiller will disconnect automatically after finishing the cycle.
CLEANING THE TANK
•
Fill the tank with 4 litres of hot water.
•
Add two spoonfuls of cleaner (too much acid may damage the material of the tank).
•
Leave the lid open, connect the power cord in (J) and press the switch (D) to heat the tank until the
water boils.
•
Empty the tank after 15 or 20 minutes. Then, wash the inside with clean water.
•
If there is too much residue to be removed in one go, repeat the process several times until the
inside is completely clean.
•
A small amount of residue can cause no damage and you can use the unit safely.
DO NOT ADD ACID TO WATER. The acid will not evaporate, will increase the acidity
cycle after cycle and the it will finally perforate the tank.
MAINTENANCE
•
Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes. Use only a specific cleaner for distillers.
•
Clean the tank approximately once a week or more often if the water is hard.
•
Allow enough time for the cleaner to work and dissolve the particles set into the tank.
•
The filter pack should be replaced at least once a month.
•
If the coil is dirty, the distillation process will be less efficient. Clean the coil regularly through the
upper grille with a brush and suction pump.
•
After each operation, rinse the tank to prevent the residues hardening.
•
Keep the outside of the unit dry.
