To add essential oils, open the essential
oil tray by pressing it. Add a few drops of
essential oil to the tray pad. Add more oil to your
liking. Only use essential oils in the tray; any brand
will work with the DUET.

Your demineralization cartridge is in your
base. This helps break down the minerals
naturally found in water – improving your air quality
and preventing the white dust people sometimes
notice with ultrasonic humidifiers.
You should change your cartridge every 60-90
days. To do this, simply remove the water tank, take
out the old cartridge, then drop in a new cartridge.
