Replacing the Headlight

The XV1 headlight can be completely removed and replaced should it ever get damaged.
1. Loosen the nose pad screw.
2. Gently pull the yolk of the headlight up and
out of the frame chassis.
3. Install a new headlight by gently pushing the
yolk interface down into the frame chassis.
4. Tighten the nose pad screw.
The XV1 comes with a headlight plug that should be
installed if you use your loupe with the headlight
removed. The plug prevents liquids and other debris
from harming the circuitry in the frame.
