Install the pump module

Install the pump module in the desired location inside the vehicle. Remember to
place the module on the nearside of the vehicle to facilitate easier manual operation
in the event of a lift failure. Use a suitable fastening in each of the three mounting
points on the floor and in at least one of the mounting points on the side panel.
Ensure the installation is sufficiently stable to withstand operation in an emergency
when using the manual hand pump.
2 Store the handle mentioned above close to the pump module so it is easily accessi-
ble when required. Use the accompanying clips.

Remove the yellow transport plug from the oil reservoir air hose and replace it with
the supplied vent cap.

Using the pump module cover
as a template, cut out a corre-
sponding opening in the vehicle
trim panel. In this way, the
pump module can be attached
directly to the chassis and will
protrude only a few centime-
tres from the panel.
