- A load of 438 kg (125 % of the maximum load) is applied to the platform,
positioned at ground level. Actuate the "UP" control and verify that the platform
does not lift (tilt is permissible). If the lift is able to lift with this weight, the lifting
capacity must be decreased. Proceed as follows (see also the illustration below):
1. Undo the locking nut. Use a 14 mm (or 9/16") socket or swivel joint wrench.
2. Turn the adjusting screw in a counterclockwise direction. Use a 3/16" Allen key.
3. Retighten the locking nut. Use the Allen key to hold the adjusting screw in
position when tightening the locking nut.
