5 INSTALLATION SETUP AND OPERATION
5.1 PRELIMINARY PHASES
•
Make sure that your router or modem is connected to Internet.
•
Download the TECOnnect application from the store.
•
Ensure the appliance is connected to the power supply unit and setup for
TECOnnect connection. The connector
5.1.1 ACCESS TO THE APP AND USERNAME REGISTRATION
1. Launch the application.
2. If you already have an account, press the "Enter" button and go to point 7.
3. If it is the access, proceed to user registration form clicking the "Sign
In" button.
4. Enter the sign-in data and press the "Proceed" key.
5. A screen will appear with the instructions for e-mail authentication.
6. Confi rm, then proceed to login with the "Enter" button.
7. The Setup screen appears.
5.2 INSTALLATION
•
Ensure the appliance setup for TECOnnect is on.
•
Connect TECOnnect to the refrigerator using the specifi c connector.
•
Connect TECOnnect to the power supply unit using the usb cable and the
power supply unit (not supplied).
•
The fi xed yellow led switches on to indicate correct connection with the
appliance.
•
The red and green fl ashing led will switch on; TECOnnect is ready for set
up.
5.3 SET UP
1. Press the "Proceed" key.
2. Connect to the Wi-Fi network of the TECOnnect module with SSID:
TECO (xxxxxx) with password:00000000 (8 zeroes).
3. Select the home Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
4. Select "next", the operation may take a few minutes. Once the procedure
has concluded with a positive outcome, the green led (WIFI) remains
on and fi xed.
5. Assign a name to the device and enter the serial number of the appliance
indicated in the technical data plate. Complete by pressing "fi nish".
