EN: Installation Sheet
Description
GS330 relay interface is necessary if the alarm zone does not
allow connecting glass break detectors. This may happen
because of several reasons: serial connection technology,
digital supervision, or zone voltage below 3 V.
As a connecting link between a glass break detector and the
panel, the relay interface can be connected in each loop
because of its floating relay contact.
The electronic is placed in a plastic case. It allows the lead in
of wire on three sides. The housing cover is monitored against
unauthorized opening by a tamper switch.

The supplied VdS stickers make it possible to identify an
unauthorized opening of the housing. After the mounting they
are fixed over the cover screw and then the sticker cannot be
removed without damage.
The relay interface is assembled in up-to-date SMD
technology, meets the VdS regulations according to class B
and passes all required EMV testing.
The alarm contact of the relay interface is normally closed if
the power supply (12 V) is connected, the end of line resistor
(2.2 kΩ) is connected, and the connected detectors are not
triggered.
If one of these items is not in normal condition, the alarm
contact opens.
The value of the monitoring resistor must be 2.2 kΩ (1%).
The triggering (opening of the alarm contacts) happens after a
change of maximum 38% of the detector line resistance. The
disturbance must be longer than 100 ms.
