Security measures:
• Wear protective equipment, such as gloves.
• Allow the engine to cool (the same applies to auxiliary heaters).
• Do not route the connecting cables over or around hot parts.
• Do not run the engine longer than necessary for the test / adjustment.
3.4 Risk of fire, explosion hazard
Work on the fuel / carburetor system carries a risk of fire and
explosion due to the fuel and its vapor.
Security measures:
• Turn off the ignition.
• Let the engine cool down.
• No open flames or sources of ignition.
• Do not smoke.
• Collect spilled fuel.
• Indoors, ensure good ventilation and aspiration.
Used Li-ion batteries may ignite, explode, or expel harmful gases if overheated,
exposed to overcharging, or short circuit.
To avoid such problems battery packs with overcharge protection are used. In
addition, a temperature controlled smart charger is used.
Security measures:
• Do not expose the equipment to high temperatures.
• Do not use generic batteries and other chemical compositions.
• Do not short circuit.
• Do not use chargers not specified or approved.
• Do not Pierce.
