Battery completely discharged
Defective Variable Speed Trigger

Solution
Clean battery and charger contacts
Recheck mains connection
Charge the battery until the charger indicates a full charge
This is normal for battery packs. Contact your GMC dealer to
purchase a replacement battery pack
Recharge battery or replace with a fully charged battery
Have the Variable Speed Trigger replaced by an authorised GMC
service centre
Fit compatible saw blade
Fit new saw blade
Adjust cutting speed to match material requirements
Fit compatible saw blade
Use less pressure whilst moving the machine
Reduce cutting speeds to material requirements
Use a suitable cutting fluid when cutting metal
Ensure there is no gap, see Fig. V
Use a uni-directional blade so it mainly cuts as it pushes the
material towards the Shoe (2)
Use a finer tooth pitch so less material is cut per reciprocating
action and smoother cutting
