OPERATION
CRIMPING
Please use only suitable crimping pliers for crimping the
terminals.
Stick the cable through the seal. Note that the smaller end
of the seal must point in the direction of the pin.
Remove the cable insulation. The length for removing the
insulation depends on the fact that the non-insulated cable
piece must lie over the entire crimping length in the pin.
Crimp the pin.
Before crimping, check the following:
the seal must sit below the retaining clip and the non-
insulated cable piece must lie over the entire crimping
length in the pin; only then is a sufficiently good electrical
connection to the pin ensured.
Pull both opposite safety tabs slightly outwards and remove
the locking comb.
