The manual release kit shall be fitted before adjusting the limit switches.

• Insert the release cable in its hook and check if the sheath has reached the stop in its housing.
• Completely screw the turning part in the body of the release system.
• In order to avoid any damage to the cable during the blocking phase, insert the copper bottom in the cable clamp, then place it in the seat on the
handle body.
• Insert the cable in the release handle till the sheath reaches the stop on the turning part.
• By means of pliers tension the cable and tighten the screw of the cable clamp.
• Check the correct operation of the release system.
• If necessary, adjust again the cable tension after the limit switch adjustment.
• Insert the cable in excess in the seat provided in the fixed part.

• Disconnect the power supply before carrying out jobs on the electric connections
• Earthing is compulsory and has to be carried out first.
• Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any kind of operation on the moving
parts.
• For any repairs, contact authorized personnel.
• A thermo-magnetic switch with omnipolar breaking and an opening distance of at
least 3mm shall be provided on the power supply mains.
• For the rolling shutter movements only monostable controls shall be used. They have to
be placed in clearly visible positions but far from the moving parts.
• The automation shall be performed by using only Genius components
• These operators have been designed for the automation of rolling shutters. The use of
the operators for uses that differ from those specified in this instruction is forbidden.
• This operator cannot be installed outdoor.
• The installation shall comply with the specific national standards or CEI standard.
