Kit Information:
The universal air induction kit has been designed to fit many vehicle applications, but due to the variety of vehicles there maybe
some instances where the kit will not fit. Modification of the kit to fit is accepted, with the exceptions outlined in the below installation
guidelines.
Here is the basic setup, that will produce the most reliable and stable air flow measurements from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) meter to
the Engine Control Unit (ECU) (Fig. 2).

The straight aluminum pipe can be shorted, with the exception of the section between the air filter end and 1" (2.54cm) past the MAF
bung of the straight pipe. See figure 3 for allowable shortening. Section "A" must not be shortened. The distance from the filter to
1" (2.54cm) past the MAF is critical for proper MAF signal information to the ECU. Section "B" can be cut shorter to allow proper fit
to vehicle. See Fig. 3.
