3 Initial operation
ATTENTION!
The gate may already open during initial operation if the radio receiver
and door control are switched on.
• Open cover
• Insert cable through the appropriate screwed connections and
tighten firmly (Figure 3).
• Insert the light sensor plug in one of the "sensor" jacks.
Unassigned inputs must be equipped with strapping plugs.
• Set DIP switches 2/3/4/5/6/ to "SW1" in accordance with
requirements (see Ch. 4).
• Insert batteries (Figure 4).
• Set DIP switches 1 and 8 to "ON" on the "SW1" switch.
The yellow LED "3" (power) should now be illuminated.
• Loosen the connection plug on the radio module (inside of cover/
Figure 4) and place it near the radio receiver.
• Prepare the radio receiver to be taught-in following the instructions
for it.
• Press the T1 button on the radio module to trigger the transmit
command.
• Teach-in the radio receiver following the instructions for it.
• Reinstall the cover on the light flash control. The cables for the radio
module plug should be in positions "E1" and "C" (Figure 4).
• Turn the "Sens." potentiometer to the centre position. The required
final setting depends on ambient conditions such as solar radiation
and vehicle distance and may be adapted later, if necessary.
Increase sensitivity by turning anti-clockwise.
• Trigger light impulses on the vehicle.
• If the light impulse is recognised without any problem, the red LED "1"
will illuminate for the duration of the light-induced impulse; after it goes
out, the green LED "2" will be illuminated for a brief period.
