4. Maintenance and service
4.1 Maintenance
Maintenance of this tool is limited to replacing anvils and mandrels. For a step-by-step
instruction, see 2.1 starting instructions.
4.2 Service
In order to keep the tool in good condition, regular maintenance and replacement of worn parts
are recommended. Service is available and provided by the dealer or manufacturers'
representative. In any case of malfunction, please contact your dealer or manufacturers'
representative immediately. Repairs must be carried out by experienced personnel.
5. Safety instructions
IMPORTANT: Follow the safety instructions to protect against electric shock, injury and fire
hazard
- Keep the working area clean and make sure there is enough light available. Do not operate
tools in dangerous environments (such as environments containing flammable liquids, gas, or
dust).
- If the tool is hung on the hanging hook, ensure that the tool cannot fall.
- Electrical safety: Do not expose the rivet tool to rain or high humidity. Water entering the
riveting tool increases the risk of electrical shocks and damage to the tool.
- Do not use the riveting tool under the influence of alcohol or drugs or when tired.
- Pay attention when using the riveting tool.
- Wear protective glasses and earmuffs to reduce the risk of injury.
- The use of personal protection equipment such as clothing, gloves, safety helmet, and other
necessary protection is strongly recommended.
- Never block the ventilation holes on the tool body and avoid inserting anything in them. Also
take safety measures so that hair cannot become entagled in the ventilation holes.
- Always use original replacement parts for repairs.
- Repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. In case of any doubt, always return the
tool to the dealer or manufacturers' representative.
- Only use the tool with the pre-drilled and punched holes of the correct diameter, as specified
in our catalogue.
- Never point the tool towards yourself or another person or animal when using the tool.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in explosions!

6. Warranty and CE certification
6.1 Warranty
This riveting tool, with the exception of the battery, is covered by a 12-month warranty. The
warranty starts on the date of sale, as shown on the invoice. This warranty does not cover wear
of parts and consumables. Damage caused by normal wear, overload, or improper use and
handling are not covered by the warranty. Defects caused by quality problems are covered by
warranty, and the tool will be repaired or replaced at no charge. Claims are only accepted if the
complete riveting tool is returned to the dealer or manufacturers' representative.
