3.2.2 Safety instructions
- The battery should be removed from the tool during prolonged storage or if it will not used for a
long period of time.
- Never attempt to charge a damaged battery.
- Never place a dirty or wet battery in the charger.
- Never dispose of batteries with household waste or in fire or water.
- Do not charge the battery if the ambient temperature is below 0 °C or above 45 °C.
3.2.3 Safety instructions charger
- Make sure the charger and power supply are undamaged.
- Always use the original power supply intended for this tool.
- Never use the charger in a humid or wet environment or near combustible materials or gases.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in explosions.
4. Maintenance and service
4.1 Maintenance
Maintenance of this tool is limited to removal of the jaw assembly:
- Remove the battery.
- Unscrew the nosepiece and front sleeve.
Unscrew the clamping sleeve and remove the 3-jaw set.
Note that this also releases the jaw pusher and pusher spring.
During intensive use, also regularly clean the front sleeve.
- Clean and lubricate the parts or replace them when worn out.
- Replace everything in reverse order and make sure all parts are screwed firmly in place.
Empty the mandrel collector regularly.
4.2 Service
In order to keep the tool in good condition, regular maintenance and replacement of worn parts are
recommended. Service is available and provided by the point of sale.

5. Safety instructions operation
IMPORTANT
Follow the safety instructions to protect against electric shock, injury and fire hazard:
- This tool may only be used to set blind rivets; it may not be used for other purposes, e.g. as a hammer.
- Do not overload the tool, and ensure that it is only used within the prescribed capacity range (see 1.1).
- Do not expose the tool to moisture or rain; do not use the tool near flammable substances or gases.
- If the tool is hung from the hanging hook during use, ensure that the tool cannot fall.
- Remove the battery when the tool is not being used and when submitting it for repair or service.
- Keep the tool in its packaging and out of reach of children when it is not in use.
- Always wear safety glasses while working with the tool. The use of personal protection equipment,
such as clothing, gloves, safety helmet and other necessary protection is strongly recommended.
- Never block the ventilation holes on the tool body and avoid sticking anything in them.
- Ensure that the mandrel collector is in place during use.
- Use only original replacement parts for repairs.
- Repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. In case of doubt, always return the tool to an
approved point of sale;.
- Only use the tool with the pre-drilled and punched holes of the correct diameter, as specified
in our catalogue. The blind rivets may be ejected from the tool. Never point the tool towards
yourself or other persons or animals.
6. Warranty and CE certification
6.1 Warranty
This riveting tool, with the exception of the battery, is covered by a 12-month warranty, starting on
the date of sale, as shown on the invoice. This warranty does not cover wear parts and consumables.
Damage caused by normal wear, overload, or improper use and handling are not covered by the war-
ranty. Defects caused by quality problems are covered by this warranty, and the tool will be repaired
or replaced at no charge. Claims are only accepted if the complete riveting tool is returned to the
approved point of sale.
