IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock and /or injury to persons, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
1. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
2. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord and plug in
water or other liquid.
3. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
4. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
5. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
6. Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before ser-
vicing.
7. Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. Keep it away from
heated surfaces.
9. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
10. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas burner or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. After unpacking the appliance, be sure to dispose carefully of the plastic bags so that children
or the infirm cannot reach them.
13. Ensure that your mains supply voltage is the same as that marked on the voltage typeplate of
your product.
14. Do not allow the mains lead to hang over the edge of the table or work surface, or anywhere
it may be accidentally be caught or tripped over.
15. Use the mini vacuum cleaner only with delivered power base.
16. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust,
lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
17. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
18. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
19. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
20. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas
where they may be present.
