13. If cooking more than one batch of cookies or cones in a session, after removal of
the first batch, lower the Lid to maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.
14. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance and allow to cool.
15. Once the appliance is cool, follow the directions in Cleaning and Maintenance section to
clean your WAFFLE CONE AND ICE CREAM SANDWICH MAKER.
Making Sandwiches
1.
With Sides placed on top of the Bottom of the Sandwich
Mold, place one cookie at the bottom, making sure that
the shape of the cookie matches the shape of the mold.
2.
Scoop your favorite flavor of ice cream and
place on top of cookie in the mold.
3.
Place the second cookie on top of the ice cream.
4.
Carefully press down on cookie with Top of the mold
to make an even layer of ice cream in sandwich.
5.
Allow sandwiches to set in freezer for at least 30-45 min.
Making Cones
1.
Immediately after removing the waffle from your WAFFLE CONE AND ICE CREAM
SANDWICH MAKER, place it on a soft, dry cloth or paper toweling. BE CAREFUL,
as the waffle will be hot. Position the pointed end of the Cone Former about ½ inch
from the edge of the waffle with the Cone Former resting in the center of the waffle.
2.
While holding the end of the Waffle Cone Former, pick up the
end of the cloth to lift and place one half of the waffle onto
the Cone Former. Using the cloth to protect your hands
from the hot waffle, press the waffle securely against and
half-way around the Cone Former. Repeat with other
side of waffle, overlapping that end over the other.
3.
Press down gently on the overlapping part of the waffle
cone. Once secure, pinch and hold together the
bottom of the cone for several seconds. Cool
on the Cone Former until it holds its shape.
4.
Place cone on a wire rack or pointed side down in a tall glass to
cool completely. Cones may be stored for several weeks at
room temperature in a sealed plastic bag or airtight container.
Making Bowls
1.
Immediately after removing the waffle from your WAFFLE CONE AND ICE
CREAM SANDWICH MAKER, place it on a soft, dry cloth or paper toweling.
BE CAREFUL, as the waffle will be hot. Place a round-bottomed
cup on the center of the waffle.
2.
Pick up each end of the cloth to lift and place the waffle around the bottom
of the cup. Using the cloth to protect your hands from the hot waffle, press
the waffle securely against the cup and hold until cool enough to hold its shape.
3.
Place on a wire rack to cool completely. Bowls may be stored for several
weeks at room temperature in a sealed plastic bag or airtight container.
