1. How to maximise your security and protection of your machine

Failure to observe at least the following instructions may cause immediate damage to
the user and/or the equipment.
1.
Follow the safety recommendations in this manual (see pages 53 and 54).
2.
Take into account the effects of kickback and attitudes to minimise it (see pages
55 and 56).
3.
Strictly follow all battery charging and usage instructions (see page 56 to 58).
4.
Do not fix the drill or accessories with dirt and do not use drill or accessories
of poor quality or poor conservation. Do not carry out any adaptation of accessories,
parts, etc. (see pages 54, 60, 61 and 66).
5.
Do not allow abrasive particles, water and other foreign matter inside the SDS
Plus chuck and always keep it lubricated (see pages 60 and 63).
6.
Do not use grease other than that recommended or supplied by PECOL and do
not mix lubricants (see pages 60, 63, 65 and 66).
7.
Do not rotate the mode select button until the machine is completely stopped
(page 59).
8.
Carry out maintenance only in accordance with this manual or the PECOL
Technical Assistance Service (see pages 62 to 66).
9.
Do not use the SDS Plus docking chuck in combination with hammering modes
(see page 61).
10.
Do not connect the charger to an electrical network that is not designed for its
intended purpose (see pages 54 and 65).
11.
Do not take the machine, drills and accessories to the limit of its capacity (see
pages 55, 58, 60, 61, 64 and 65).
12.
Do not combine or attempt to adapt for a conjugated use, batteries, chargers or
power tools with those of other brands or for other applications (see pages 54, 60, 61,
64, 65 and 66).
13.
Do not store the battery for a long period with a charge of less than 50%, and
periodically check the charge level (see page 62).
14.
Do not leave the battery stored in environments with temperatures below 0°C or
above 50°C (see page 62).
15.
Do not put a battery that is already fully charged to charge again. Initial
overcharge can damage the battery (see page 56).
