Never change the operating mode while the machine is still
spinning.
If the machine is subjected to heavy and long-term use (drilling of large diametres),
excessive heating and activation of the thermal protection system of the battery is
possible, causing a deceleration of the machine or even a temporary stop. In this
situation, wait for the batteries to cool to resume operation.
An operation at low rotation for a long period of time tends to cause a greater heating
of the machine. Promote the machine operation unladen and high rotatation for 2 to 3
minutes to normalise the temperature. The hammer when new needs an operating time
between 3 to 5 hours to reach its maximum efficiency.
In the case of sudden braking in high torque or drilling applications, the machine will be
automatically shut down by the (Overload Protection, see page 55).
In spite of these protection systems, in certain applications, the generated overloads can
damage the machine. Avoid bringing the machine to this point.
