Gas Type Conversion
CAUTION:
B LP AND NG ARE EXTREMELY
FLAMMABLE. TAKE EXTRA
PRECAUTIONS WHEN PERFORMING ANY
WORK TO THE HEATER.
PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED BY A
LICENSED GAS TECHNICIAN.
A. Preparation
1. Tools needed:
• Flat screwdrivers
• Phillips screwdrivers
• # 40 Torx driver
• Digital combustion analyser
B 2. Shut off gas supply at installer supplied
shutoffvalve.
B 3. Unplug the power cord.
B 4. Remove front cover.
B 5. Remove the three screws from the control unit.

B Pull control unit out and rotate to reveal the back
side.
B Remove the small cover of the control unit.

B. Converting from NG to LPG
B 1. Remove jumper from location JP6 on the control
board (Fig. 2).

B 2. Replace small cover on control unit's back and
reinstall control unit in the water heater.
B 3. Turn ON the appliance.
B 4. Adjust CO
C Converting from LPG to NG
B 1. Add jumper to location JP6 on the control board
(Fig. 3).
