USING THE POUR OVER COFFEE CONE
BREWING COFFEE
Replace the Cone (with filter) on the
1
mug/carafe, then add coffee grounds
to the filter (see "Brew suggestions").
Slowly pour the hot water over the
3
grounds in a spiral pattern starting at
the center and moving outwards.
Allow the bloom to recede before
5
starting a second pour. This may
take approximately 30-50 seconds.
4 | USING THE POUR OVER COFFEE CONE
Gently tap the Cone to evenly
2
distribute the coffee grounds.
As the water hits the coffee, gases are
4
released, causing the grounds to rise
and bubble. This is called a "bloom."
NOTE: The amount of bloom may vary
depending on the type of bean and roast.
Continue to pour then pause,
maintaining an even water line level
6
throughout the brew. Repeat this
pattern until you've reached the
desired amount of coffee.
