Assembly
The heavy-duty dowels included in the scope of delivery are only suitable for concrete walls. In case of doubt, please
obtain technical advice or ask your specialist dealer to advise you whether the dowels included in the scope of delivery
are suitable for your walls.
ATTENTION: Only use screws or dowels that are suitable for your type of wall or stone.
Scope of delivery:
4 pieces heavy duty dowels M12/95
Required drill size: Ø16
Minimum drilling depth: 130 mm
Maximum drilling depth: 150 mm
Assembly instructions:
Step 1:
Mark the drill holes very accurately. As soon as the heavy-duty dowel is firmly in place, you will have no more room for
manoeuvre.
Step 2:
Ideally drill the holes with a percussion drill according to the specifications regarding diameter and drilling depth.
Step 3:
As the heavy-duty plug can easily get caught in stone or other dirt, it is essential to clean the drill hole after drilling.
Step 4:
For this step you need the help of a second person.
Person A holds the pull-up bar against the wall so that the drill holes of the pull-up bar match the drill holes in the wall.
Person B inserts the heavy-duty dowels into the drill holes and hammers them in to the required setting depth.
Caution: When hammering in the heavy-duty dowels, make absolutely sure that you do not damage the threads.
Step 5:
Tighten the nuts of the heavy-duty plugs.
Note on location selection:
When choosing a location, make sure that the wall is freely accessible and that there is a safety clearance of at least 50
cm to the right and left of the pull-up bar and at least 100 cm behind the pull-up bar.
The height should be chosen in a way that there is a distance of at least 10 cm between head and ceiling at the top of
the chin-up, where the chin is above the chin-up bar.
