WarninG: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture, ballast, or
fluorescent tubes.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, we recommend you contact a qualified electrician to do the installation.
InstaLLatIon
1. Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.
2. Remove existing fluorescent tubes and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.
3. Remove and set aside the ballast cover, if needed.
4. Use the existing shunted sockets if they in good condition. If not, it is recommended that new shunted sockets (not
included) are installed.
nOTE: C-Clip should be installed in the fixture to prevent lamp radiation and provide extra security for high
vibration areas.

WarninG: Carefully read and understand the information given in this manual before beginning the assembly

or even fatal. • Ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. Either remove the fuse or turn
off the circuit breaker. • This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation codes by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. • Risk of electrical
shock. To reduce the possibility of serious injury, always take the proper precautions and unplug the fixture before
moving or cleaning. • Risk of fire or electric shock. LED Retrofit Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires
electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician. • Risk of fire or
electric shock. Install this kit only in the luminaires that have the construction features and dimensions shown in
the photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the retrofit kit does not exceed the input rating of
the luminaire. • Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit
installation. • To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp
objects.

WarninG: THIS RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE SUITABILITY OF
THE COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. • Installers should not
disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals. Instead
installers should cut existing lampholder leads away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to
lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors. • THERE ARE LED TUBE, OPERATION INSTRUCTION AND
FIELD APPLIED LABEL IN THIS RETROFIT KIT.
The units covered by this report were intended to be retrofit surface mounted with a diffuser for this model number. Type
IC and non-IC recessed mounted fluorescent luminaires use a maximum of two lamps, the minimum lamp compartment
dimensions are below:

expressly limited to repair or replacement of product and liability for direct, incidental, or consequential damages is
hereby expressly excluded. Some states do not allow exclusions of direct, incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights, which
vary from state to state. WARRANTY IS VOID IF PRODUCT IS NOT USED FOR THE PURPOSE WHICH THIS PRODUCT IS
MANUFACTURED.

InstaLLatIon

4. Utilisez les douilles shuntées actuelles si elles sont en bon état. Autrement, on recommande l'installation de douilles
neuves (non fournies).
rEMarQUE : La pince en cé devrait être installée sur le luminaire afin d'empêcher le rayonnement de la lampe
et plus de sécurité aux endroits où il y a de fortes vibrations.
