Installation
If the arm is mounted on the barrier's body, remove
it.
Place the arm on a stable surface, making sure it is
not scratched.
To insert the LEDs, proceed as follows (Fig. 1):
• Rimuovere dall'asta la copertura della punta e i
due profili laterali trasparenti.
• Remove the cover from the end of the arm along
with the two transparent side strips.
• Feed in the LED strip into the two transparent
strips pushing the rear part of the LED strip gently
so that LEDs are facing outwards (detail A).
• Feed the transparent strips into the arm
• Secure the rubber adhesive under the LED strip
in line with the bend to protect it from the sharp
aluminium edge (detail B).
• Close the end cover
• Feed the cable from the other side of the flange
through the dedicated hole indicated in detail C.
To mount the arm, follow these instructions (Fig. 2):
• Secure the cable-tie loop (supplied) (detail D).
• Pass the cable through the hole of the barrier's
main body (detail E).
• Secure the flange to the body of the barrier.
• Secure the arm to the flange.
• The free part of the cable is now found inside the
body of the barrier, behind the reduction gear.
Take the cable to the command unit passing to
the right of the reduction gear and rising towards
the casing, as shown in Fig. 2.
• WARNING: the length of the cable between the
cable-tie loop and the hole of the barrier's body,
is critical. The cable must be long enough to avoid
it being pulled when the arm is horizontal but
not too much slack must be left, so as to avoid
catching/snagging.
Carry out the connections to the command unit as
shown in Fig. 3.
To see how to configure the lights, please refer to the
manual of the command unit (setting of parameter
79
).

Testing
With the bar unlocked, perform a manual operation
of the bar and check that the cable follows the
movement and not a tent or entangled.
Confirm the lighting of all LEDs with automation in
motion

6 months making sure that they are clean and
operational.
If there are any signs of dirt, moisture, insects or other,
cut off the power, disconnect the battery and clean.
Run again the Testing procedure.
