3.1 Thermostatic Cartridge

Shut off the stop valves.

Removed the handle and temperature stop cam.

Unscrew the cartridge (picture 3.1).

Put the cartridge into vinegar or into decalcifying solution for one night.

Clean the inner part of the body with a wet cloth (picture 3.2).
-
Lubricate the gaskets of the cartridge with special or alimentary grease.
-
Replace the cartridge in its place.

Temporary put the handle on the cartridge.
-
Keep the water coming out of the mixer for at least 1 minute, check the temperature
with a thermometer, until you reach the temperature of 38ºC.

Remove the handle avoiding any rotation.
-
Put on the plastic cam with the red dot turned to the top.

Important: the thermostatic mixer doesn't work properly without the plastic cam.
Without the plastic cam the temperature stop at 38º doesn't work.

Replace the handle definitively with 38ºC mark accordingly to the red dot of the cam.

We recommend make the thermostatic cartridge maintenance once per year. In
places of hard water we recommend the cartridge maintenance twice per year.
3.2 Filtros / Filters

Quitar los filtros (llave 30)

Quitar los filtros y limpiarlos con agua.

En caso que haya depósitos de cal, dejarlos dentro del agua con vinagre o una
solución antical durante 12 horas.

Poner los filtros dentro otra vez en las tuercas e instalar otra vez el termostato

Shut off the stop valves.

Remove the filters from the pipes (Key 30)

Remove the filters from their seats and wash them with water.
-
In case of lime-scale deposit, leave them into water, into vinegar or into lime-scale
solution for 12 hours.

Replace filters into the nuts and install again the thermostatic mixer.
