So now, let's build the clock! Before you start,
familiarise yourself with the pieces and check
to make sure you have all of them to hand!
Some younger children may benefit from adult
assistance in constructing the clock.
As with any self-assembly kit, it is important
to ensure that you use an appropriate working
area with a clear, flat surface. All pieces will
fit together simply and in accordance with the
instructions. Please always check that you are
using the correct piece and that you are putting
it into place the right way round!
Please also ensure that you keep the pieces of
the kit away from children under the age
of 36 months, as the small pieces present a
potential choking hazard.

2.1. Place base of clock on a flat surface.
2.2. Position the clear circle with tail (number
11) on the small pillar as pictured.
Then place the silver bell (number 5) and
the large clear stopper (number 6) on the
pillar directly underneath the clear circle
with tail. Now attach the silver hammer
(number 3) on the pillar to the left of the
clear circle with tail and secure with the
second large clear stopper.
2. 3. Place the green wind-up crank (number
20) through the back of the clock (to the
right of the silver hammer). Then position
the white ratchet wheel (number 19) on
top of the green wind-up crank pushing it
down as far as it can go until the piece is
secure.
Please note the white ratchet wheel must
have the flat side facing upwards.
2.4. Place the red wheel (number 16), white
wheel (number 17) and yellow wheel
(number 15) in this order as pictured.
2.5. Connect the thicker end of the white gear
(number 23) through the flat end of the
black wheel (number 24). Then place
this in the middle of the base of the clock
with the thin end of the white gear facing
upwards. Position the black cog with four
legs (number 4) on the pillar to the left of
the silver hammer.
2.6. Position the green wheel (number 27) on
the pillar to the left of the black wheel.
Make sure the green wheel is interlocked
with both the black pieces.
Place the pink wheel (number 28)
through the white gear that is connected
to the black wheel.
2.7. Position the red and white wheel/spring
(number 18) through the green wind-up
crank.
Make sure the white ratchet wheel is still
secure.
Place the blue wheel (number 14) on the
last remaining pillar.
Make sure the blue wheel overlaps the
red and white wheel/spring and interlocks
with the yellow wheel.
2.8. Attach the face of the clock on top of the
base of the clock.
Secure by putting the yellow pin (number
25) through the hole that is situated
above the number 12 on the clock, and
by putting the green stopper (number 10)
through the hole between numbers 4 and
5 on the clock.
2.9. Place the hour hand (number 13) over
the pink wheel in the middle of the clock.
Then put the minute hand (number 12)
over the hour hand.
The clear triangular stopper with grooved
ends (number 9) is then placed over the
two hands to secure them into position.
2.10. Now flip the clock over.
Connect the clear fork (number 22) and
the yellow lever (number 26) together
making sure it clicks into place.
Once together, the shape should look
like a Z with the arms of the clear fork
facing downwards. Put the clear fork
through the hole at the top of the clock
situated directly below the yellow pin
holding the face and the base together.
2.11. Place the white stool (number 29)
over the clear fork and yellow lever
and through the yellow pin so that the
mechanism is secure.
2.12. Connect the top and the bottom of
the yellow pendulum (number 21) by
locking the ridged edges together.
Place the completed pendulum on top
of the white stool and the yellow lever
making sure the print '+fast and – slow'
is facing you.
Put the clear triangular stopper with
solid ends (number 8) over the end of
the white stool to hold the top of the
pendulum in place. Then attach the
small clear stopper (number 7) on top
of the yellow lever.
2.13. The clock is now complete. In order for
the clock to start working just wind-up
the green crank at the back of the clock
and tick-tock- let it rock!!!

Fonctionnement :
Lorsque l'horloge est remontée, le ressort se
tend de façon à faire diminuer graduellement
la tension et de manière à transférer l'énergie
qui fait bouger l'aiguille. Reliées les unes aux
autres, les roues dentées se mettent à tourner
une par une. Le balancier contrôle la vitesse
avec laquelle se libère l'énergie. Cela permet
à l'horloge de marquer l'heure et de réguler la
vitesse à laquelle les engrenages tournent et à
laquelle le ressort se desserre. Finalement, au
bout d'un moment, le ressort se détend et n'a
plus d'énergie à transférer aux roues dentées.
C'est pour cette raison qu'il est nécessaire
de remonter l'horloge, afin de répéter le
processus depuis le début. Lorsque le ressort
est remonté au maximum, l'horloge fonctionne
environ six heures. Il s'agit d'une horloge
d'expérimentation qui ne fonctionne pas sur
une longue durée.
Avant de commencer, vérifie qu'il ne manque
aucune pièce et suis les instructions de
montage.
Travaille sur une surface dégagée et plane.
Précaution d'emploi :maintenir les pièces du
kit à l'écart des enfants de moins de 36 mois,
les petites pièces représentant un risque
potentiel d'asphyxie.
Certains enfants peuvent avoir besoin de l'aide
d'un adulte pour monter l'horloge.

2.1. Placer la base de l'horloge sur une
surface plane.
2.2. Placer la pièce 11 sur le petit pivot.
Placer ensuite les pièces 5 et 6 sur le
pivot, juste en dessous de la pièce 11.
Placer la pièce 3 sur le pivot gauche de
P5
la pièce 11 et fixer celle-ci avec une des
pièces 1.6.
2.3. Introduire la pièce 20 par la partie
arrière de l'horloge (à droite du marteau
argenté). Placer la pièce 19 sur la partie
supérieure de la manivelle verte en
la poussant au maximum vers le bas
jusqu'à ce que la pièce soit bien fixée.
Remarque :la partie plane de la pièce 19
doit être orientée vers le haut.
2.4. Placer les pièces 16, 17 et 15 dans
l'ordre indiqué sur l'image.
2.5. Placer l'extrémité la plus épaisse de la
pièce 23 sur la partie plane de la pièce
24. Puis, placer celle-ci au centre de la
base de l'horloge avec l'extrémité fine de
l'engrenage blanc vers le haut. Placer
la pièce 4 sur le pivot situé à gauche du
marteau argenté.
2.6. Placer la pièce 27 sur le pivot situé à
gauche de la roue noire.Remarque
: veiller à ce que la roue verte soit
engrenée avec les deux pièces noires.
Placer la pièce 28 à travers l'engrenage
blanc qui est relié à la roue noire.
2.7. Placer la pièce 18 à travers la manivelle
verte. S'assurer que la pièce 19 est
toujours fixe. Placer la pièce 14 sur le
pivot restant. S'assurer que la roue bleue
reste au-dessus de la pièce 18 et qu'elle
est engrenée avec la roue jaune.
2.8. Placer le cadran de l'horloge sur la partie
supérieure de la base de l'horloge. Le
fixer en faisant passer la pièce 25 dans
l'orifice situé au-dessus du numéro 12 de
l'horloge et en introduisant la pièce 10
dans l'orifice situé entre les numéros 4 et
5 de l'horloge.
2.9. Placer la pièce 13 sur la roue rose au
centre de l'horloge. Mettre ensuite le
minuteur (12) sur l'aiguille des heures.
Puis placer la pièce 9 sur les deux
aiguilles pour qu'elles restent bien en
place.
2.10. Retourner l'horloge. Joindre les pièces
22 et 26 en s'assurant qu'elles fassent
bien clic au bon endroit.
Une fois reliées, elles devraient former
une sorte de Z avec les pointes de la
fourchette transparente vers le bas.
Placer la fourchette transparente à
travers l'orifice de la partie supérieure
de l'horloge. Cet orifice est situé
juste en dessous du boulon jaune qui
maintient ensemble le cadran et la base
de l'horloge.
2.11. Placer la pièce 29 sur la fourchette
transparente, sur le levier jaune et à
travers le boulon jaune de façon à ce
que le mécanisme reste fixe.
2.12. Joindre les deux parties du balancier
jaune (numéro 21) et les fermer en
emboîtant les bords à sillons. Placer le
balancier entier sur la partie supérieure
du tabouret blanc et sur le levier jaune
en s'assurant que les mots « FAST »
(rapide) et « SLOW » (lent) restent face
à toi. Placer la pièce 8 sur l'extrémité
de la pièce 29 pour maintenir en place
la partie supérieure du balancier.
Joindre ensuite la pièce 7 à la partie
supérieure du levier jaune.
2.13. Le montage de l'horloge est terminé.
Pour que l'horloge commence à
fonctionner, tourner la manivelle verte
se trouvant sur la partie arrière de
l'horloge.
