R290 REFRIGERANT

R290 refrigerant, or propane, is a possible substitute for other refrigerants,
with great environmental impact, in small hermetic systems, such as domestic
and commercial refrigerators and freezers. It has a zero ODP ozone destruc-
tion potential and a negligible GWP global warming potential. Since it comes
from oil, it is considered a natural refrigerant.
