J. To touch up remaining lightly coated areas wait about 10 minutes, and apply additional
coats to help conceal worn areas.
K. When back side is dry to touch (approximately 2 hrs) carefully turn over and complete
front in exact same manner.
L. Allow 4 hours before applying Protective Top Coat.
STEP #3 – APPLY PROTECTIVE TOP COAT
The Protective Top Coat is formulated with self cross-linking technology that provides
superior stain and scratch resistance.
Start with Cabinet Frames:
A. Wearing gloves and protective eyewear, thoroughly mix the Protective Top Coat with
the stir stick provided.
IMPORTANT:
coated areas that have started to dry.
B. Use a 2" angled or straight synthetic
paint brush to apply an even layer of
Protective Top Coat to the cabinet box
and frame. To ensure the best results,
use up-and-down brush strokes on the
cabinet sides and stiles. Use side-to-side
brush strokes on the horizontal rails.
End with light finishing strokes.
For best results use a
premium quality brush.
