Rear
Clamp hitch into position – Raise hitch into position, aligning the rivet clearance holes in bracket with rivet heads in bottom of frame. With the hitch flat against the frame, clamp hitch to

Drill rear attachment holes - Using the hitch as a template, drill (2) 3/4'' holes in the frame, one per side.

Install 3/4'' fasteners – Loosely install the ¾'' hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts through frame and hitch as shown in figure 1.

Drill forward attachment holes – Using the hitch as a template, drill (2) 5/8'' holes in frame, one per side.

Install 5/8'' fasteners – Loosely install the 5/8'' hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts through frame and hitch as shown in figure 1.

Tighten all 5/8-11 Gr5 fasteners with torque wrench to 110 Lb.-Ft. (136 N*M)

Tighten all ¾-10 Gr5 fasteners with torque wrench to 200 Lb.-Ft. (271 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Drill side attachment holes - Using the hitch as a template, drill (4) ½'' holes into the plates that extend down below the frame.

Install 1/2'' fasteners – Loosely install the ½'' hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts through frame plates and hitch.

Tighten all ½-13 Gr5 fasteners with torque wrench to 70 Lb.-Ft. (95 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which
has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety
specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
