Trace the base of toilet.
3. Mark the Installation Location
IMPORTANT! Make sure the toilet is correctly positioned before
marking the tank fastener location and installation. The toilet will
not install correctly if it is improperly positioned.
Position the toilet in the installation location.
Make sure the toilet is positioned directly over the waste outlet.
Trace the base of the bowl on the floor.
Remove the toilet.
Cut the template along the outside line with a scissors.
Lay the template on the mounting location, matching the outside
edge with the line on the floor.
Use masking tape to hold the template in place.
Drill two 9/16" holes, 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) deep minimum, at the
locations marked on the template.
