hardware installation
1. set the lock/unlock
switch on the end
panel to the unlock
position.
2. Slide the cover of the Drive Enclosure off the base
(as shown in the sample device at right).
3. carefully place your hard drive in the
base of the enclosure so a solid
connection is made with the
22-pin SATA connector.
4. slide the cover of the enclosure
back in place.
5. Use the included USB cable to connect
the enclosure to your computer.
6. Set the Lock/Unlock switch on
the end panel to the lock
position. The Power/Activity
LED will light to indicate power
to the enclosure and blink to
indicate activity.
NOTE: integrated into the
lED indicator is the
One-Touch Backup
button, which is explained in the Software Installation section.
