Surface seal application and assembly
WARNING
Danger of accident due to improperly fitted seals
Permeable seals may allow moisture to penetrate and cause short circuiting.
Fit the seal so that it provides sealing against the switch cabinet.
Always check seals during cleaning and maintenance work.
Surface seal application and assembly of the PWT air/water heat exchanger
Requirements
-
Cut-out (1) for the air/water heat exchanger is fitted, see Assembly of the PWT air/water heat exchanger –
mounting the
cut-out.
-
The surface (2) is free of grease and oil.
-
The unit is voltage-free.
Required tools and materials
- Surface seal (3), assembly tool
- Accessory kit: Sash fasteners, screws, nuts, washers
Procedure
Adhere the self-adhesive surface seal (3) to the switch cabinet (2) with the chamfer to the front, in line with the
shape of the unit (4).
Reinforcing the mounting surface creates an optimum seal between the air/water heat exchanger and the
switch cabinet.
The surface seal is fitted and the air/water heat exchanger can be assembled.
