renden Blechschrauben. Entsprechende
Sollbruchstellen am Gitterumfang ausbre-
chen. Möglichst mit Ø 3,5 mm vorbohren.

gegebene Schutzart bei waagrechtem Einbau
bzw. Förderrichtung nach unten.
– In trockenen Räumen für jede Einbaulage ge-

– Förder- und Drehrichtung sind auf der Ventila-
torhülse durch Pfeile gekennzeichnet.

Fan for installation in duct
Note:
– Read through these instructions carefully and
completely before attempting to install the fan.
– Prescribed use: HELIOS accepts no liability for
damage caused as a result of application not in
accordance with the intended use of the equip-
ment.
– Device manufactured according to direc-
tives 94/9/EG ("ATEX 100")
The fan fulfils the safety regulations according
to the European directive 94/9/EC for devices
and protective systems in potentially explosive
atmospheres. Our EC declaration of conformity
is attached.
– Keep the operation manual in safe place
We urgently recommend to keep the operation
manual in safe place once the fan has been
installed. On the rear of the manual you will find
a copy of the rating plate. At the right side
lower section of this plate, the production num-
ber of the respective fan is registered.
– Maintenance and repairs
The fan is allowed to be serviced only be
experts being qualified on explosion-proof
equipment. We recommend to return the fan to
our factory for any necessary repair work.
– Obligations of the installer and the operator
We do emphasize that additional protective
regulations have to be adhered during installati-
on and operation of the fan, e. g. according to
the EC directive 1999/92/EC ("ATEX 118").
Important notes
– Electrical connection may only be carried out
by suitably qualified experts.
– The fan may only be operated at the rated vol-
tage specified on the rating plate. Electrical and
appliance installation must be carried out in
accordance with the valid regulations, in parti-
cular DIN VDE 0100 with the sections.
– The installation must be equipped with a mains
disconnecting device with a contact opening of
at least 3 mm at each pole.
– Every motor must be operated with a motor
protection switch, set to the rated current,
which in the case of a short circuit trips within
the heating time shown on the test certificate.
