5. Operating Instructions
1) Manual control of the projectors
Press the G button in the projector section in order to control projectors 1 through 9
manually. The projector display (C) will show the number of the last projector to be
selected. Use buttons H and I (UP & DOWN) to select a different projector. When this is
done you can modify the channel values with channel faders 1 through 6 (M).
2) Programming
Hold button F for a few seconds to enter the programming mode. The programme
number to be edited starts to flash on display B. Change the programme number with
buttons H & I.
The scenes display (A) shows the scene that is currently selected. The read-out will be
00 00 00 00 in case of a new programme. If not, then the last inserted scene is displayed.
Press button G and select the active projectors for that scene with buttons H & I. Use the
channel faders (M) to adjust this projector's DMX channel values. You can also select
other projectors to be inserted into the scene. Press F to exit the programming mode.
3) Deleting a programme
Hold the F button for a few seconds until the displayed data start to flash. The
programming mode has now been selected. Select the programme to be deleted with H
& I. Press the delete button (E) to delete the programme in question.
4) Running a programme
Press F momentarily to activate the programming mode. Select the desired programme
with H & I. The programme starts to run immediately. Push F again to end the programme.
5) Cross and stand of a scene
Use sliders K & L to adjust the Cross and Stand Time of the selected scenes. The
CROSS adjustment determines the duration of the switchover to the next scene, while
the STADND TIME determines the duration of the scene itself.
6) Selecting the projectors
The device has 4 built-in programmes. You can include or exclude projectors for each
programme. Hold the J button to enter the selection mode. The message "SET" appears
on the display. After a few seconds, the display will start to show the various projectors
and their status (ON/OFF). Select the desired status per projector with H & I. Add a
projector to the sequence by pressing D (ON) or remove it by pushing E (OFF). Press J
again to exit the selection mode.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws for installing the devices or parts of the device have to be screwed down tight and
must not be corroded.
2. The housing, mounting supports and connections should not be modified or tampered with
e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not change the location of the
connections, etc.
3. The electric power supply cables must be undamaged. Have the device installed by a
qualified technician.
4. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
5. Wipe the device regularly with a moist cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
