- Página 7 MODEMISER 3. Operation The ModeMiser monitors data transmit and receive lines in the modem line. When data transmission in both directions stops, a timer begins to count to a pre-selected time interval. If data does not resume in either direction before this interval is reached, DTR to the modem is dropped.
