Remove the portable appliance by pressing the release button (5). The portable unit will separate easily.

The corner nozzle and the upholstery nozzle can be used to vacuum hard to reach places.
Emptying/Cleaning
Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Clean the dust container and filters thoroughly:

Remove the dust container completely by pressing the release button (5). Take out the dust container, empty the
dust into a bag or suitable container.

Shake the filter to clean it or clean and rinse it in hot water. Make sure all the parts are dry before reassembling the
appliance.
Reassemble the appliance in reverse order to how you dismantled it.
Cleaning the swivel brush head
If the swivel brush head becomes blocked or clogged for any reason the vacuum cleaner's effectiveness will be
reduced. The swivel brush head should be cleaned. Firstly, switch off the appliance. Then carefully remove whatever is
causing the blockage, such as threads, for example.

Should the swivel brush head need to be opened, open the cover of the head by turning the locking screw anti-
clockwise with a coin or other tool. The head cover will be released and can be removed.

Remove the roller brush and clean it. Replace the roller brush and make sure that it is positioned correctly in the
slots and can turn freely.

Replace the cover on the head and tighten the screw by turning it clockwise as far as possible.
Cleaning the wheel axles.
If a wheel jams because of threads or dirt becoming stuck in it:

Pull out the treads or other objects that have caused the wheel axles to jam.
Recycling
When you dispose of the appliance you must remove the batteries. Used batteries must never be thrown away with
domestic refuse. Always take them to a recycling centre.
